Discovery Restaurant was first opened in 1998, but it closed its doors in late 2005 for remodeling and then re-opened for the public in February 2006.
The owners of this famous restaurant are Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman (Mythbusters). 

The Discovery Restaurant prides itself on delivering a first class meal and a great atmosphere.

Personal Background:

Adam Savage:

Adam in an American industrial design and special effects designer/fabricator, actor, educator, and co-host of the Discovery Channel television series Mythbusters and Uncained Reaction. His model work has appeared in major films, including Star Wars Episode II: Attach of the Clones and The Matrix.

Jamie is an American special effects expert and co-host of the television Mythbusters. He is known among Robot Wars devotees for his robot entry, Blendo, which, for a time, was deemed too dangerous for entry in the competition.  He is on the of designers of the aerial robotic camera system Wavecam, used in sports and entertainment events.
